Scotty Hawker
Having been coached by Andy DuBois since 2013 Scotty immediately experienced the benefits of having a structured, race-specific, personalised training plan. He joined the Mile 27 team as a coach in order to help others on their journey to achieving their running ambitions and goals. Scotty’s dedication to being the best athlete he can be also carries over to his coaching. As well as relying on his experience as an elite athlete he continues to expand his knowledge in order to provide his clients with the most up-to-date, scientific and specific training possible. Hearing the success stories and tales from the trails is what motivates him to continue striving to be the best coach he can be. |

David Byrne
Running has been a major part of my life since I was in my early teens. From being the first little athlete to run under 2 minutes for 800 meters, to representing Australia at the World Cross Country Champs and winning the 6FT Track Marathon in 2014 - I have been a passionate distance runner for over 20 years. Coaching for me is about sharing the knowledge I’ve gained throughout this period and working with people to help them achieve their sporting goals. Whether it be getting off the couch and doing their first ever running event, or the lofty achievement of conquering an Ultra Marathon, for me coaching is about a shared journey where together we push your physical and mental limits and do things you never thought possible! |
Kerry Suter
I have almost 10 years competitive running and coaching experience. I am a two-time winner of the Tarawera Ultra Marathon and coach to almost 100 runners including Jo Johansen and Ben Malby. Having learned a lot on my personal journey to fitness I now focus on applying my knowledge in a coaching and mentoring facility. I have a deep understanding of the science of training and a great desire to share this to the benefit of those that seek my help. |
